Albert Fujimoto (1941-2003) was born in California. He and his family were detained in various internment camps during World War II. After the war they met Harley Mackeben, who recruited the family to come and work on the Mackeben Berry Farm on west Main Street. Albert attended Huntley public schools, graduating high school in 1959. He served in the U. S. Army in Korea from 1962 to 1965.
