Drawing No. 12. Coastal scene of village with dwellings and buildings, erected by Spanish settlers (formerly Maquinna village?). Supposedly the site of negotiations and treaty (Nootka Convention) between Spanish and English explorers. Forest of lodgepole pines in background. Canoes and sailboat in cove.
