Illinois Veteran's Home at Quincy, located along 12th and Locust in Quincy, IL. Originally known as the Illinois Solider's and Sailors Home, 1886, name was formally changed in 1973. The Private Joe Sculpture is of a figure of a soldier standing at parade rest. He wears a uniform consisting of a long coat, a cape buttoned at the top and a cap.
