Caption on back of card: University of Chicago Medical Group. The present University of Chicago was founded in 1890 and opened its doors to students October 1st, 1892. It has a history of continuous growth in student attendance, in endowment and in the breath of its educational program. Eighty-five buildings are located on or near the quadrangles, erected at a cost of $11,000,000. The faculty numbers over eight hundred.
