Governor John Wood statue in Washington Park, Quincy, IL. Cornelius G. Volk was the sculptor. The statue was dedicated July 4, 1883 where it faced west along 5th street. The statue was moved in 1936 to the west side of Washington Park, along 4th street when the first Lincoln- Douglas Debate Monument was installed.
