Jacob Keis Orchestra in Belvidere, Illinois where he worked for the National Sewing Machine Company. It is believed that Jacob Keis is the man holding the violin in the front left of this photograph, none of the other members are identified. Jacob Keis (1875-1957) played the violin, viola, and bassoon. Keis played for Rischar at the Empire Theatre and was an officer of Local 265. Keis also played in a band in Rockford, IL.
