Group picture. Notes on back of photo: Picture taken in 1936 while Engine Company 56 from 2214 Barry Avenue located here while new fire station was being built for them there. This fire station was vacated on Mary 1, 1941 when Goldblatts paid for the construction and opened a new fire station for Hook & Ladder 21 and the Chief of the 13th battalion at 1501 School Street, the site of the present edifice.
