January 15, 1767, letter from Mary Occom to Eleazer Wheelock, regarding the behavior of her son, Aaron, who Wheelock had agreed to take into his Indian Charity School at Lebanon, Conn. The second child (b. 1753) and wayward son of Mary and Samson Occom, Aaron attended Wheelock's school three times, with poor results. He married Ann Robin, a Wangunk Indian, and died in 1771.
