- Description
During World War II Charles Overstreet sent postcards to his friend Curley Belt back home in Flora, Illinois. Since Charlie was more comfortable with drawing pictures than writing words, he decorated his postcards with original ink drawing depicting army life in a humorous manner. This postcard was mailed from Fort Benning, Georgia and postmarked November ?, 1943.
