Copy of statement from a soldier in the 10th Michigan Infantry regarding Captain Noah Hart's sunstroke at the Battle of Peach Tree Creek on July 20, 1864. Signed in Lapeer County, Michigan on October 30, 1888. Hart lost the use of his right arm after the battle. Hart later suffered greater paralysis and became unable to work, and requested an increase in his military pension.
