Don Wilkening

- Description
Don Wilkening was a soldier in the 45th Infantry Division in World War II. He fought in Europe and was captured in France in 1944. Wilkening was a prisoner of war in a German POW camp in Moosburg, Germany (see related website for more information). After he was released from the army Wilkening re-inlisted and served as a corporal in the Army Signal Corps in California.
