Rev. L. Dudley Day (1902-1983) of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntley, pictured at the right, was one of the officials dedicating the 1951 Centennial Vault in honor of the village's 100th anniversary. The vault, or time capsule, is located at the northwest corner of Coral and Church streets, across from the town square. It is to be opened in 2051.
