Caption on back of card: This church, in the heart of the Loop, was dedicated on September 7, 1953, and serves 300,000 Catholics working downtown. The striking heroic figure of Christ on the Cross is eighteen feet tall and weighs 26 tons. J. Watts, who created Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park, was the sculptor. Additional text on back: Chicago, 'the city beautiful.'
