Byron Prosser (1895-1954). Byron Prosser was the great-grandson of Dr. William Crane, early Libertyville resident and the first Libertyville Township supervisor. Born in Ohio, he moved to Libertyville with his mother, Eva Stone Prosser, in 1897. He lived most of his life with his cousins, the Appleys, at 830 N. Milwaukee Avenue.
