The slide reads: "Peoria Courthouse 2/3/78. 1978-75-22." The photograph shows a portion of the plaque at the Peoria County Courthouse denoting the site of the Lincoln-Douglas debate. The portion shown includes a likeness of Abraham Lincoln. The plaque was erected by the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic in 1910. The photograph was taken during the Lincoln Heritage Trail Ceremony at the Peoria County Courthouse on February 3, 1978.
