Caption on back of card: Founded in 1878 by the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, is the largest teaching hospital in Illinois outside of Chicago. It has a bed capacity of 695, including 86 bassinets. Admissions total 20,000 yearly, plus 3,000 live births.
