- Description
This is a black and white photograph taken in June 1926 for the Eucharistic Congress. Thousands of people swarm to the front entrance of the Cathedral of the Holy Name in hopes of participating in or seeing the mass. There is absolutely no room for movement in the crowd. American and Papal flags fly in celebration. The cathedral is also decorated for the occasion.
