Caption on front of card below picture: The Decatur Dam, on the Sangamon River, impounds about eight billion gallons of water, forming Decatur Lake. The height of the dam is 610 feet above sea level flash boards to be added will make water level 612 1/2 feet. The cost of the dam and water impounding system is valued at $2,000,000.
