Civil War drum (inside wood crate); Drum with blue panel on which is painted United States Seal. On red ribbon in eagle's beak reads "9th REGt U.S. INFANTRY" Red band around top and bottom of drum. Pasted on bottom drum head: 9th Vt. Regt. Drum"
