Skokie Firefighters Skokie Firefighters Patches worn on clothing to identify their rank, function and company. This patch identifies the Fire Department. The words "Skokie Fire" frame the profile of a Native American in a war bonnet. The patch, created in 1959, was designed by one of the Skokie Firefighters.
