Two telegrams notified Percy and Laura Alta Miller that sons Albert and Marion Lee Miller were both missing in action during World War II. Marion served on the U.S.S. Dudley, which sank in the Pacific theater on June 8, 1943. Marion went down with the ship. His Mother received the Purple Heart for Marion's service.
