Ephraim Bartlett Wheeler, a land surveyor by trade, helped William Dunton survey and map the new town of Dunton (Arlington Heights) in 1854. He also worked as a Consulting Architect and Civil Engineer. Born in Lisbon, Grafton County, New Hampshire, on April 11, 1814, Wheeler was one of seven children born to George Washington Wheeler and Fanny Bartlett.
