Photograph of George E. Blameuser from 1933. Blameuser was the seventh mayor of Niles Center, Illinois from 1933-1944, and has the distinction of being mayor when the village changed its name from Niles Center to Skokie in November 1940. He was later the director of the National Bank of Skokie. This photograph is part of the collection of the Skokie Historical Society.
