(Left to right) Evelyn Kent, Sylvia Downes, and Gladys Rimmer, English girls. Americana U. S. A. finale number. One day when the English girls were riding a bus in Baltimore, Sylvia had her arm out a window. The bus swerved towards the sidewalk and her arm was crushed between bus and utility pole. She recovered $50,000 in damages for the accident. July 7, 1953.
