Taken in the 1920s, this street view of Milwaukee Avenue looking south from School Street features Dennis Limberry. Mr. Limberry was Libertyville's town marshal and later the village's first police and fire chief. The well known and respected chief served until his sudden death from a heart attack in 1928.
