- Description
Grace Ward confused the Elephanta Caves with the Ellora Caves. This image, depicting the wedding of Hindu gods Shiva and Parvati, is a rock carving in the Ellora Caves. The Ellora Caves and temple complex in the Indian state of Maharashtra were excavated from the faces of cliffs from the 5th through the 10th century.
