The photograph shows the 100 block of South Adams Street in Peoria, Illinois, looking south from Main Street. There are commercial buildings on both sides of the street. There are street car tracks down the middle of the street. Horses and wagons are stopped at the curbs on each side of the street. There are street lamps but no utility poles along the curbs.
