This volume is a comprehensive look at the evacuation of persons of Japanese ancestry from West Coast areas, carried out by the United States Army in the spring of 1942. Considerations that led to the evacuation and the mechanics of the evacuation are covered in detail. Operations of the various Assembly Centers, inlcuding statistical and fiscal summaries, and photogrpahs are also included. Note: blank pages in this volume were not scanned.
