The Great Buddha of Kamakura, or Kamakura Daibutsu, is the second tallest Daibutsu in Japan. It was cast in bronze in 1252 A.D. The statue is on the grounds of Kōtoku-in, a Buddhist temple in Kamakura, Japan. In this image several men can be seen on and around the statue, one in the folds of the Buddha's robes and another sitting on the Buddha's hands.
