Black-and-white photograph of the North Shore Lines Dempster Street Terminal "elevated" train station in Niles Center, Illinois in 1926. Shown: buses and automobiles pulling in and out of the station. This terminal opened March 28, 1925. The Skokie Swift began service at this station in April 1964. This photograph is part of the collection of the Skokie Historical Society.
