Caption on back of card: The John Hall Sherratt Library at Rockford College is the first small college library in the country to make use of divisional reading rooms corresponding to the four general divisions of the curriculum. The building was first opened in the fall of 1939 and was dedicated by Archibald MacLeish, Library of Congress.
