William V. Ittner was born June 7, 1934 in Highland, Illinois to Vernon and Estelle Ittner. He served in the US Army as part of the 33rd Infantry, 504th Field Artillery Unit in the Panama Canal Zone from 1954 to 1956. Ittner discusses his time in the US Army when he was stationed at the Panama Canal Zone.
