- Description
View north along the State Street Mall from the intersection with Washington Street. Virginio Ferrari's sculpture "Being Born" stands at the right, in front of the Marshall Field's store. The buildings at the left, on the west side of this block, including 100 North State Street (Chicago Federal Savings Bank) and the Springer Block (Bay State Building and Kranz Building), have since been demolished for Block 37 redevelopment.
