Letter, dated Feb. 27, 1919, from Walter Batice (Sheet Lightning), to Mr. William D. Barge in Chicago, containing the Sac and Fox alphabet. Batice lists the Sac and Fox ABC's, with English phonetic equivalents, arranged in eight columns. He also includes his Indian name and the word ""friend-fish"" as examples, giving the English sounds first, and below them, the Indian equivalents.
