Emily T. Bradley Draper came to Arlington Heights after her marriage to Daniel K. Draper, a Justice of the Peace. She held a degree from Wheaton College and had taught a year. They settled at Hillside Farm with their only son, Cyrus. Cyrus always lived on the home place and brought his wife Lillian to live on the farm. Cyrus and Louise had one child Helen.
