One is a soldier over England, the other a mechanic over France, and they are reaching out to one another across la Manche (the English Channel). The colors are those of the French flag. A swastika is imprinted in the red portion, encroaching upon France. A Cross of Lorraine is in the bottom-right corner by the text.
