This bound justice of the peace log book from 1862 - 1882 follows a variety of court activities regarding local residents such as assault and battery, larceny, mortgages, and property transfers. Also in the log book are court summons, subpoenas and receipts. The justices of the peace presiding during the time of the log book were James Daniels and Henry Harrer.
