Photograph taken in May, 1940 on north side of the railroad tracks in front of Bette Crichton's house at 200 North Street in Towanda, Illinois is of some Towanda girls and some Rantoul boys. The boys, who were in the armed forces, came from the Rantoul air base. L-R: Eleanor Threlfall, Thelma Fordyce, and Bette Crichton are standing in front of Marie Fordyce and Kathryn Young.
