- Description
Shigeto (1914-1980) and Alice (1922-2002) Fujimoto had been among the Japanese detained in internments camps during World War II. In 1946, Harley and Mabel Mackeben sponsored the Fujimotos to come to Huntley to work on their west Main Street berry farm. The Fujimotos brought along their 5-year-old son, Albert. In 1948, their son Roy was born. The Fujimotos resided in a home on west Main Street until their deaths.
