The commercial building at 9 North Vail Avenue was built about 1988. It is located on what had been part of the Redeker homestead which was razed in 1966. On the corner to the left, the building with the tower is the Vail-Davis Building which was built in 1929 and has housed various retail establishments and apartments. This item is part of the collection of the Arlington Heights Historical Society (http://www.ahmuseum.org).
