Black and white photograph of school children eating next to the cafeteria they are building at Francisco I. Madero Model School in Mexico City. Founded in 1921 in Mexico City's Colonia de la Bolsa neighborhood, the school promoted active learning and social action. Handwritten on recto: "Donde comian mientras hicieron su comedor ellos mismos" [where they ate while they made their dining room themselves].
