Dr. Frederick Miner was one of the first settlers and first doctor in the Elk Grove area arriving in 1834. In 1854, he moved his family to Dunton where he continued to practice until his death in 1861. He treated malaria, cholera, typhoid, scarlet fever, tuberculosis, and influenza. Frederick's wife Miranda is buried to his left, between Aaron and Frederick. Aaron's wife (Frederick's mother) was named Hannah Baldwin. This item is part of the coll...
