The Bloomington, Illinois YMCA building was constructed at 201 East Washington Street between 1907 and 1909. In 1910, it began staging a yearly off-season circus in its gymnasium called the Four Claws and Stingling Circus (a play on Forepaugh and Ringling Bros. Circuses).
