Built for Svea Soner Singing Society, 1893-1896. The society's music hall (2nd floor) was sometimes used as a vaudeville venue, and the ground floor housed a branch of Rockford Public Library, 1904-1917. Sandehn & Ross Dry Goods store was located here, 1896-1901, located 326-330 Seventh Street, razed 1982.
