An October 9, 1970 Bloomington, Illinois Pantagraph newspaper article and photographs highlight the 14 room home of Mildred Quindry near Money Creek and Towanda. The two story red brick structure had been in stages of remodeling since January. Mrs. Quindry's childhood home had been called Home Park Place and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1969.
