The Bloomington, Illinois Pantagraph newspaper article dated June 5, 1986 tells the story of the Kraft family farm, from its purchase in 1858 by Timothy Kraft, to 1986, when the land was being farmed by Timothy C. Kraft, great grandson of the original Timothy Kraft. In 1986, the Kraft family received an official Centennial Farm sign is person from Lt. Gov. George Ryan.
