Roxanne Corrado was a basketball coach and physical education teacher at South Junior High (now South Middle School). She was "rifed" (reduction in force) in 1983. Due to smaller enrollment, staff was let go. She had worked for the district for 8 years and had received her degree in education at Northern Illinois University.
