- Description
During World War II Charles Overstreet sent postcards to his friend Curley Belt back home in Flora, Illinois. Since Charlie was more confortable with drawing pictures than writing words, he decorated his postcards with original ink drawing depicting army life in a humorous manner. This postcard, mailed from Fort Benning, Georgia is postmarked December 29, 1943.
