This is a black and white photograph taken in June 1926 for the Eucharistic Congress. This photo is probably along Lake Shore Drive looking north for there are only buildings along the left side of the photo. On the right side of the street a mass of people has gathered – perhaps in their attempt to get to Soldiers’ Field. There are white barricades keeping the people where they are.
