Account, Jan., 1774, in the handwriting of Nottaway trustee Edwin Gray, who signed the document, itemizing payments to members of the tribe for the rental of their lands during 1773. Among the Indians receiving shares of the total sum (_74-4-6) were members of the Gabriel, Quaker, Woodson, John, Pearch, Scholar, Roger, Step, Meriot, Wincoke, and Turner families.
